Money is a Game: Find your Market, Get set, Go!

I’ve previously wrote about investing in yourself, and investing in your skills. So the next question may be, Where to invest?

Money is a Game

Money is a game and money should be looked at as exactly that, a game. And in this game, YOU are your most valuable asset. You’re playing a game. It’s that simple, and if you look at it as a such, just like anything else, you can learn and get better at it.

So how will you invest?

What determines the outcome of any game isn’t how good you are; it’s how good you are relative to your competition. First and foremost, it’s so important to know your own strengths and be honest about your weaknesses. This will allow you to find a market in which you have an inherent advantage and THATS where you should invest.

Success is not just about making the right moves; it’s also about eliminating the wrong ones. The encouraging part is, you need not be afraid of making the wrong moves, as long as you are honest about your weaknesses. The wrong moves are investing into one of your weaknesses. The right moves are investing into one of your strengths.

Level Up

So you’ve invested into one of your strengths, now what? and How will I “level up”? and What is the hack?

Starting off at anything there is a period of being the newbie, the level 1 peon. Not a lot is expected of you, so take the time to observe, study, and learn. Only through experiences will you become better. However, in this phase, it is easy to instead become bitter. You will lack knowledge and you will make mistakes. So what’s it gonna be, get bitter, or get better? To get better you must be honest and reflect on your mistakes.

…and always remember, there is no fast path, there is no hack, HARD WORK is the hack.

Becoming a Creator
Once you are well versed in any craft you can then become a creator. Express your vision in that craft!

Your vision must align with who you want to be. Your choices must align with your vision. Your effort must align with the size of your vision. Your behavior must align with your values and principles.

In the End

When you’re winning, you’re not as good as you think you are.
When you’re losing, you’re not as bad as you think you are.
So choose a market that aligns with your strengths, your vision, who you want to be, and you will be happy.
