Christmas Crack

Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve salted saltine crackers
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 12 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 oz. candy pieces (Heath, Butterfingers, etc.)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 °F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spray with Pam, and lay saltines flat on parchment.
  3. Combine butter and brown sugar in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil over Med-high heat and boil for 3 min. Stir constantly.
  4. Pour butter mixture over crackers, spread evenly, and bake for 5 minutes.
  5. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips evenly, let melt for a minute or two, then spread out with the back of a spoon or spatula.
  6. Sprinkle candy bits evenly.
  7. Chill in fridge for 3-4 hours minimum.
  8. Crack and Enjoy!
